A trip to the zoo. . .

We left Coop with aunt Kim, and took Gehrig and Porter to the zoo on Friday. We watched the otters and raccoons, had a snack and played on the playground. The playground was the most popular, even Kevin got in on the action! Cooper is doing great-I only have to get up once in the night to feed him (the complete opposite of Porter). Kev's parents will be back tomorrow and he is going back to work. . .let the fun begin!

More pics. . . .

Here are some more pictures-Cooper and his Rod Stewart hair, Porter and his YUMMY French Toast from aunt Kim, grandpa and dad. . . .

Almost a week!

It's been almost a week since we've had Cooper, and his hair is still crazy (along with his brother). We've had lots of visitors, most of whom have dropped off food-THANK YOU!! We'll need another fridge soon. Porter and Kevin went to the Superbowl party on Sunday and had a great time eating and chasing the cat. Cooper is doing well, too-lots of sleeping and eating. I realize my life is now centered around meal times and diaper changes. I feel great and am looking forward to the warm weather this weekend.
If we haven't seen you yet, we hope too and if we have-thank you for your generosity (especially the thoughtful gifts for Porter!).

Home again, home again, hippety-hop!

We're home! Cooper Lee (just liked the name Cooper, Lee is after Kevin and his dad) was born on 1/29 at 8:03 a.m. weighing exactly 8 lbs abd was 20.25 in. long. This kid has a TON of hair, that, when washed and styled, could easily pass for a younger version of Rod Stewart-highlights and all. The nursery nurses had a good time with that. Thank God for hospitals and pain medication, but we were very anxious to get home and start our family (mommy missed Porter!). Kev's parents were able to stay and help out all week. Night number one went fairly well, considering. Now it's on with the show!
